Copperplate Envelope Calligraphy

A project dedicated to the elegance and emotional impact of traditional handwritten correspondence. Each envelope was addressed by hand using classic Copperplate script, chosen for its formal structure, balanced proportions and timeless refinement.
High-quality Fabriano paper in an ivory tone was selected for its visible texture and tactile richness, providing the ideal surface for black ink. The subtle contrast between the warm paper and the deep black lettering enhances legibility while reinforcing the classical aesthetic of the piece.
By writing both name and surname in carefully executed Copperplate, each envelope became more than just a functional carrier. Instead, it served as the first emotional point of contact with the invitation inside. The hand-signed nature of the envelopes added a sense of care, anticipation, and ceremony, ensuring that the experience began the moment the guests received them.
